Dyslexia is not a Disability but a Blessing

One specific learning issue that mostly impairs a person's ability to read, write, and spell is dyslexia. Difficulties with precise and fluid word recognition are its defining characteristics. Dyslexics may have trouble accurately reading, deciphering words, and comprehending what they read.

Remember that dyslexia has nothing to do with IQ. In addition to having skills in other domains including problem-solving, creative thinking, and visual or spatial tasks, dyslexics frequently have normal or above-average intellect.

The exact cause of dyslexia isn't fully understood, but it's believed to involve a combination of genetic and environmental factors. Brain imaging studies have shown that the brains of individuals with dyslexia function and develop differently in certain areas associated with reading.

Support for individuals with dyslexia typically involves specialized teaching methods and interventions tailored to their specific needs. These methods may include multi-sensory learning, phonics instruction, and other techniques designed to improve reading and language skills. Early identification and appropriate interventions are essential to help individuals with dyslexia overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Certainly! Here is a list of 16 world-famous individuals who are believed to have had or have openly discussed having dyslexia:

1.                  1.  Albert Einstein: The renowned physicist and Nobel laureate Albert Einstein is believed to have had dyslexia. He faced difficulties in school but went on to revolutionize our understanding of the universe.

2.     Steven Spielberg: Acclaimed filmmaker known for iconic movies such as "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" and "Jurassic Park."

3.     Richard Branson: Entrepreneur and founder of the Virgin Group, spanning various industries like music, airlines, and telecommunications.

8.     Agatha Christie: Prolific author known for her detective novels, including those featuring Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple.

9.     Anderson Cooper: Award-winning journalist and CNN anchor.

10.Jamie Oliver: Celebrity chef and advocate for better food education and cooking skills.

11.Sir Richard Rogers: Influential architect behind structures like the Pompidou Center in Paris.

12.Tim Tebow: Former NFL quarterback and current professional baseball player.

13.Nigel Kennedy: Renowned violinist known for his interpretations of classical and contemporary works.

14.Jay Leno: Former late-night talk show host and comedian.

15.Magic Johnson: NBA legend and successful businessman.

16.Scott Adams: Creator of the Dilbert comic strip.

These individuals have not only achieved great success in their respective fields but have also openly discussed their experiences with dyslexia, serving as an inspiration to many others facing similar challenges.

Role & support by Parents & society:

The support and understanding provided by both parents and society play crucial roles in helping individuals with dyslexia. Here are ways in which they can offer assistance:

Parents:

1.     Early Identification and Support: Recognizing signs of dyslexia early and seeking professional evaluation and support is vital. Parents can observe their child's struggles with reading, writing, and language and seek guidance from educators or specialists.

2.     Advocacy: Advocating for their child's needs within the educational system is important. This may involve working with teachers and school administrators to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) or accommodations that suit the child's learning style.

3.     Support and Encouragement: Providing emotional support and encouragement is crucial. Reinforcing the child's strengths and ensuring they feel supported can positively impact their self-esteem.

4.     Specialized Education and Resources: Seeking out specialized educational programs, tutors, or resources tailored to address dyslexia can significantly aid a child's learning.

5.     Understanding and Patience: Parents should understand that dyslexia doesn’t reflect a lack of intelligence. Patience and understanding help in creating an environment where the child feels comfortable and supported.

Society:

1.     Education and Awareness: Raising awareness about dyslexia within society helps reduce stigma and misconceptions. This can be through educational programs, workshops, or community discussions.

2.     Accessible Support Services: Ensuring that there are accessible resources and services for individuals with dyslexia, such as community-based support groups, educational institutions with inclusive practices, and availability of assistive technologies.

3.     Accommodations in Workplaces and Institutions: Encouraging workplaces and educational institutions to provide accommodations such as extra time in exams, assistive technology, or alternative learning methods can create a more inclusive environment for individuals with dyslexia.

4.     Support Networks: Building support networks and communities that foster understanding, acceptance, and support for individuals with dyslexia and their families can make a significant difference in their lives.

5.     Inclusive Policies: Encouraging the development and implementation of policies that support individuals with learning differences within educational and professional settings is essential for their success and well-being.

Both parents and society can play a vital role in providing the necessary tools, support, and understanding to help individuals with dyslexia thrive and achieve their full potential.

Mensa IQ test & Mahnoor Cheema

A standardized intelligence exam called the Mensa IQ test is used to find people with high intellect, more precisely those who score in the top 2% of the general population regarding cognitive ability.

This test is one of the requirements for membership in Mensa, an international organization for people with high IQs.

The Mensa organization was cofounded in Oxford, England, in 1946 by Roland Berrill, a barrister, and Dr. Lance Ware, a scientist and lawyer.

Mensa, the Latin word for "table," also the organization's name, represents an equal-only discussion at a round table.

They sought to establish a society free from social, political, and religious attachments for those with high IQs.

Some wellknown people who are known to have met the requirements for Mensa membership include:

Stephen Hawking was a Mensa member and was a well-known theoretical physicist.

Geena Davis is a Mensa member and an Oscar Award-winning actress.

Marilyn Vos Savant is a regular contributor to the "Ask Marilyn" section in "Parade" magazine and holds one of the highest IQ scores ever reported.

Rowan Atkinson is a Mensa member and is best known for playing Mr.

 Bean.

These are just a few examples of Mensa's diverse membership which consists of professionals from a range of industries, including science, the arts, entertainment, academia, and more.

Its important to remember that Mensa membership and the IQ test are just one way to measure intelligence and cognitive abilities. People have different strengths and talents that may not be fully captured by a single test score.

Mensa's requirement for membership is a score at or above the 98th percentile on certain standardized IQ or other approved intelligence tests, such as the Stanford–Binet Intelligence Scales. The minimum accepted score on the Stanford–Binet is 132, while for the Cattell it is 148 and 130 in the Wechsler tests (WAIS, WISC).[14] Most IQ tests are designed to yield a mean score of 100 with a standard deviation of 15; the 98th percentile score under these conditions is 130.8, assuming a normal distribution.

A 16-year-old British-Pakistan girl set a new record by passing 34 subjects at the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) level, the highest ever number of subjects by any student in the history of the UK and EU GCSEs.

The teenager is the daughter of Barrister Usman Cheema, and her mother,  Tayyaba Cheema, who hails from  Lahore city of Pakistan. They settled in the UK in 2006 and their daughter joined Langley Grammar School in West London after her initial education at a private school in her hometown Lahore.

The exceptional Pakistani-origin student has set other records too. Apart from her academia, Mahnoor’s IQ has also been recognized on a global scale, at 161 on the Mensa IQ Test, ahead of Albert Einstein, who is believed to have possessed an IQ of 160. With this, she has earned her place among the top 1 percent of the world’s population for intellectual ability. She has also completed ABRSM Music Theory and Practical in Grade 8, with distinction. She is one of the youngest individuals in the UK to be pursuing a music diploma. She has also been shortlisted in the prestigious John Locke essay competition, with the awards ceremony in Oxford later this year.

LIFE of Migrants (Poem)

They leave behind their homelands, their roots, and cherished kin,

In search of brighter futures, where new chapters can begin.

Across borders and oceans, they traverse with heavy hearts,

Carrying dreams and aspirations, where a fresh start imparts.

With every step they take, a story unfolds,

Of sacrifices made and untold stories left untold.

They face the unknown, leaving comfort zones behind,

Embracing the challenges, with determination intertwined.

Each step tells a story, etched upon weary feet,

As they tread upon the path, where dreams and hardships meet.

They carry within their souls, the weight of sacrifice,

For the chance at a better life, they pay an ardent price.

They build new lives, like bridges from the past,

Cultivating hope and dreams that forever last.

In unfamiliar lands, they find strength in unity,

Creating communities, woven with diversity.

But let us not forget, amidst the tales untold,

The struggles endured the yearnings yet to unfold.

For migrants are more than just wandering souls,

They are humans with stories and intrinsic roles.

Let us extend our compassion, with open hearts and minds,

Embrace the strength they carry, the stories that unwind.

For in the shared human journey, we find our common ground,

In the life of migrants, a symphony profound.

AI (Artificial Intelligence)

COVID-19  divided our era in many ways. it affected many aspects of society and the economy individually. Most important; people have lost jobs and livelihoods. now people are still scared, not from the pandemic but the AI (artificial intelligence) which is going to replace human beings, causing more poverty, more social insecurities, and more depravity. but they say it is revolutionary and can increase capabilities, skills, and competency among companies as well as individuals. affected many social and economic problems in individuals. most important. people have lost jobs and livelihoods. now people are still scared, not from the pandemic but the AI (artificial intelligence) which is going to replace human beings,  causing more poverty. more social insecurities, more depravity. but they say it is revolutionary and can increase capabilities, skills, and competency among companies as well as individuals.

before going ahead, we see, what is an AI;

Artificial intelligence, or AI, is the term used to describe the creation and application of computer systems that are capable of carrying out tasks that traditionally call for human intelligence. AI systems are made to interpret and analyze data, learn from patterns and experiences, forecast outcomes, and take actions depending on their comprehension of a specific situation or problem.

The two main categories of AI are:

Limited AI:

Narrow AI, sometimes referred to as Weak AI, is created to carry out particular actions or activities. It has a narrow focus and is good at a few things, like chess or image recognition or natural language processing. Narrow artificial intelligence (AI) systems are made to address specific issues and lack general intelligence.

General AI,

Often referred to as Strong AI, is the term used to describe AI systems that have human-level intelligence and are able to comprehend, pick up, and apply information from a variety of domains. The goal of general artificial intelligence is to replicate human cognitive skills including reasoning, problem-solving, creativity, and self-awareness. Although General AI is a long-term objective, research and development are still being done in this field.

The subfields of artificial intelligence (AI) systems include machine learning, neural networks, robotics, natural language processing, computer vision, and expert systems. To provide machines the ability to observe, learn, reason, and make judgments, these subfields employ a variety of algorithms and methodologies.

Numerous industries, including healthcare, banking, transportation, education, manufacturing, and entertainment, have adopted AI in some capacity. It could help with complex problem-solving increase productivity, automate repetitive jobs, and improve decision-making processes. To enable the ethical and safe deployment of AI systems, ethical considerations, and responsible development are crucial.

The benefits and drawbacks of artificial intelligence (AI) are numerous, as listed below:

Benefits of AI

Efficiency and Automation:

Artificial intelligence (AI) can automate routine operations, lowering human effort and boosting efficiency. It increases productivity because it can handle huge amounts of data and carry out complicated calculations considerably faster than humans.

Making decisions:

AI systems can analyze enormous volumes of data, spot trends, and decide wisely in light of the facts at hand. Making more accurate and unbiased decisions will be easier with this, especially in fields like banking, healthcare, and logistics.

Solution of Issues:

AI algorithms are capable of tackling complex issues and discovering answers by investigating many options. They can use cutting-edge methods like deep learning and machine learning to learn from the past and modify their strategy accordingly.

Aid and Support:

AI-powered systems, such as virtual assistants like Siri and Alexa, can offer individualized aid and support for a range of tasks, including appointment scheduling, query resolution, and recommendation giving. This can increase comfort and enhance user experiences.

Studies and Innovation:

AI enables scientists and researchers to analyze and interpret vast volumes of data, enabling advancements in a variety of domains including astronomy, medicine, climate studies, and more. It can assist in identifying patterns and correlations that humans might find difficult to discover.

Drawbacks of AI

Job displacement:

The automation of tasks by AI has the potential to disrupt the job market or result in the loss of jobs. Human workers may be replaced by AI systems in some occupations, which could result in unemployment or the requirement for people to learn new skills in order to stay employable.

Lack of Human-like Understanding:

Despite developments in natural language processing, AI systems continue to have difficulty accurately understanding human emotions, context, and sarcasm. They might interpret things incorrectly or give inadequate answers, which could cause annoyance or confusion.

Concerns about prejudice and ethics:

Since AI algorithms are taught on data, if the training data reflects societal disparities or contains biases, AI systems may reinforce those biases. Particularly in sectors like hiring, loan approvals, and criminal justice, this may result in unfair decisions being made or biased outcomes.

Availability of Data:

For training and decision-making, AI systems are significantly dependent on reliable data. The effectiveness and dependability of AI systems can be jeopardized in domains with scant or skewed data. Concerns about data privacy also arise when AI systems gather and use sensitive personal data.

Lack of Creativity and Intuition:

Artificial intelligence (AI) systems are excellent at processing and analyzing data, but they are deficient in human traits like creativity, intuition, and common sense. They find it difficult to comprehend complex situations or take imaginative risks that people do naturally.

it is important to consider both the advantages and disadvantages of AI as we continue to develop and deploy these technologies to ensure they are used responsibly and ethically

Aspartame Is a Possible Cause of Cancer in Humans, W.H.O.

Aspartame, a common artificial sweetener included in diet beverages and low-sugar meals, was warned on Thursday by a World Health Organization department that it may be carcinogenic.

However, a second W.H.O. committee did not change its conclusion about the acceptable level of aspartame ingestion. According to some estimates adopting the panel's guideline, a 150-pound person may avoid a risk of cancer while consuming around 12 cans of Diet Coke daily.

The World Health Organization (W.H.O.) agency's announcement that there is a cancer risk connected with aspartame is the first time the illustrious international organization has officially commented on the consequences of the essentially omnipresent artificial sweetener. For many years, aspartame has been a contentious food additive.

The International Agency for Research on Cancer, or I.A.R.C., stated that it based its assessment that aspartame was a potential carcinogen on scant information from three human observational studies that, according to the organization, connected consumption of artificially sweetened beverages to an increase in cases of liver cancer — at rates far below a dozen cans per day. It issued a warning that the findings might be biased toward the profile of those who use more diet beverages and urged further research.

However, Dr. Francesco Branca, director of the W.H.O. Department of Nutrition and Food Safety, advised those who often consume aspartame to think about switching to water or other unsweetened beverages.

Although, he continued, "Our results do not indicate that occasional consumption should pose a risk to most."

An emergence of no- and low-sugar food and beverages has been brought on by worries about the rising incidence of obesity and diabetes around the world as well as by changing customer tastes. One of the six sweeteners allowed by American regulators, aspartame, can be found in thousands of items, including yogurt, sugar-free gum, diet sodas, teas, and energy beverages. Other uses for it include sweetening different pharmaceutical medications.

The F.D.A. issued a statement in which it stated that it "disagrees with the I.A.R.C.'s conclusion that these studies support classifying aspartame as a possible carcinogen to humans."

21 Lessons for the 21st Century - Yuval Noah Harari

The book "21 Lessons for the 21st Century" by Yuval Noah Harari raises important questions and offers smart solutions to the problems facing our generation. Harari, well-known for his earlier books "Sapiens" and "Homo Deus," once again proves his capacity to dissect difficult subjects clearly and provide readers with a new viewpoint.

There are 21 chapters in the book, each of which focuses on a distinct issue or lesson that applies to the present and the future. Technology, politics, religion, artificial intelligence, and climate change are just a few of the topics Harari explores. He expertly integrates historical background, scientific analysis, and philosophical reflection to give a thorough understanding of the difficulties facing a global society.

The book has some flaws, despite the fact that it presents insightful observations and addresses crucial issues. The author occasionally dives into subjects without offering enough detail or useful solutions. This might annoy some readers, especially when dealing with difficult themes like the future of labor or the place of religion in a world that is changing quickly.

The book can also be rather depressing, focusing on the difficulties and uncertainties of the future without providing a clear vision for improvement. The lack of a sense of hope or specific steps to solve the challenges can leave readers feeling overwhelmed or disappointed.

21 Lessons for the 21st Century" is a book that challenges readers' thinking and stimulates their minds. It gives readers insightful information about how our world is now operating and the difficulties we face. It may not have all the solutions, but it encourages readers to think critically and reflect, even though it may not have all the answers. The book serves as a starting point for crucial discussions on the future of mankind, whether or not you concur with Harari's conclusions.

This book's success lies in Harari's ability to translate difficult ideas into understandable language. He is successful at conveying complex concepts and theories in a way that is accessible to a wide audience. This makes the book interesting and educational, independent of the reader's background or past knowledge.

Harari doesn't hold back while discussing taboo and uncomfortable subjects. He questions accepted wisdom and points out the errors in our present ideologies. His analysis of populism's growth, how technology is affecting jobs, and how privacy is eroding pose significant concerns about where our society is headed. He invites readers to critically evaluate their own opinions and take into account different viewpoints by doing this.

Humanity's dying Spirit

Humanity, once radiant and bright,

Now cloaked in shadows, losing its light.

A poetry of sorrow, I now proclaim,

For our collective spirit drowning in shame.

In the corridors of power, greed's venom spreads,

As empathy and compassion hang by fragile threads.

The world weeps silently, its heart torn apart,

As we witness the erosion of our very own art.

With blinded eyes, we turn away from the cries,

Ignoring the pain, the suffering, the endless sighs

Inequality grows, the gap widens each day,

Leaving the marginalized, forgotten and astray.

Wars ravage lands, leaving scars in their wake,

Innocent lives shattered, for the powerful's sake.

Hate breeds like wildfire, consuming our souls,

While love and understanding retreat into holes.

Greed and power hold humanity's reins,

As compassion and love slip through the chains.

Hatred and division poison our souls,

As humanity's essence slowly erodes.

We build walls instead of bridges, it seems,

Ignoring the plight of our fellow human beings.

With every war waged and innocent life lost,

Humanity pays the unbearable cost.

The Earth cries out, burdened by our disdain,

As we plunder its riches, inflicting endless pain.

Species disappear, ecosystems decline,

Yet we turn a blind eye, consumed by our own design.

Let's rekindle compassion, ignite the flame,

Embrace diversity, let love be our aim.

Reach out to others, lend a helping hand,

For in unity, we'll reclaim what we've banned.

Let love be our anthem, compassion our creed,

And humanity's dying spirit, we shall feed.

With open hearts and minds, let's rewrite the story,

And resurrect the essence of our shared glory.

Lost Love 💞

In the depths of despair, my heart does dwell,

A tale of lost love I'm compelled to tell.

Like autumn leaves, our love once vibrant and bold,

Now withered, faded, a story untold.

Once we danced in fields of blossoms bright,

Our love was a symphony, a radiant light.

But time's cruel hand swept our dreams away,

Leaving me alone, lost in shades of gray.

Your laughter, like music, once filled my days,

But now echoes fade, in sorrow's disarray.

The touch of your hand, once a gentle breeze,

Now a distant memory, lost in the seas.

I search in the echoes of a forgotten song,

For fragments of love that once belonged.

But the stars in the sky, they no longer align,

Leaving me adrift, a ship without a sign.

Yet, in this darkness, a glimmer remains,

A whisper of hope amidst the pain.

For love lost is a lesson, bitter and sweet,

A chance to grow, to heal and to meet

A new dawn awaits, with promises untold,

Though scars may linger, love can unfold.

In the tapestry of life, we find our way,

With newfound strength, to love another day.

So I'll cherish the memories, both joy and strife,

And let my heart heal in the rhythm of life.

For in this journey, love's lessons I've found,

A bittersweet symphony, forever profound.
